Although I'm not usually a fan of traditional furniture, I chose this classic little clock and it's just right in my 1929 home. It arrived promptly, assembled and set in minutes. I've tried both the chimes and prefer the Westminster to the Whittington--too many notes. On low volume, I can hear the clock throughout the house and it still brings a smile to my face after nearly a month. It has a sleep mode and does not chime from midnight to 5:45AM. It's the perfect blend of antique style and modern convenience.

I have just recently become an Amazon Prime member due to purchasing a Kindle Fire with which I used to ordered this clock. I cannot say enough about how well Amazon.com treats you as a customer. Service is excellent. Becoming an Amazon Prime member is well worth the money. The clock came very well packed against any damage. It was larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The wooden case is first class with a beautiful brown oak finish and fits the decor in our spare bedroom to a tee. My wife and I were even more surprised when the rich sound of the chimes played. It was easy to set up and came with it's own battery. Now, (it sounds and looks so good) I'm trying to talk my wife into placing it on the fireplace mantle in our family room. Worth every penny.
