The Seiko Melodies in Motion Mantel Clock is sure to charm guests and family alike. This melodic clock is constructed with a gold-tone case. The timepiece also includes a glass crystal that protects an intricate scene: a red- and blue-robed orchestra surrounding a rotating Swarovski crystal pendulum, all set against a gold-tone ballroom backdrop. The round white dial features black Arabic hour markers at the three, six, nine, and 12 o'clock, as well as complementary watch hands. On the hour, the timepiece is set to play two sets of melodies, the first of which includes: The Four Seasons' "Spring," Kanon, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Symphony No. 6's "Pastoral," Peer Gynt's "Morning," and La Traviata's "Drinking Song." The second selection includes: Amazing Grace, The Planets' "Jupiter," Waltz of the Flowers, Salut d'Amour, Pictures at an Exhibition's "Promenade," and Dance of the Reed Pipes. A convenient light sensor automatically shuts down all music, movement, and chimes when it becomes dark, making this timepiece well-suited for the bedroom. In addition, this distinctive clock includes a volume control, a demonstration button, and an on/off switch.

Buyer Beware. I was very disappointed when I received this lovely looking clock. It is lightweight plastic. For the price I expected a real glass and wooden case with metal and mirror accents.

Plastic - yes, but the grandkids love it. They can push the test button & listen
to the music anytime they want- and the music is fine.
