I bought this watch used from a different website.

Seiko consistently offers the best bang-for-your-buck. The fit and finish of this watch are superb, as expected. You will not find a similar feature set on a watch of this quality and price outside of Japan. Admittedly, the dial is a bit busy from the cluster of complications, but that is a matter of preference. There is a subdial for date, one for day and 24-hour timekeeping, a power reserve meter, and, last but certainly not least, a moonphase. The subdials are adorned with decorative Geneva stripes which glint depending on how the light hits them, and the moonphase must be seen in person to appreciate its subdued beauty. A flat sapphire crystal sits over top it all. The case is finely polished, which, when coupled with the equally polished bracelet, can appear "blingy" (for better or worse). Strangely, the crown is not signed, which seems uncharacteristically cheap.

Accuracy has been excellent. Using the official time to set and to gauge, this watch has gained ~3 seconds in a month. The watch is second-hand and has never been serviced or regulated. It definitely meets and exceeds the advertised range of the Caliber 5D88 movement of +/- 15 seconds a month.

The original bracelet is comfortable enough and closes with a quality Seiko-branded clasp. The end links are solid, which is a plus, especially for Seiko. It utilizes a pin-and-collar system. I discovered the hard way that the previous owner lost a few of the pin collars, as one of the pins slipped out and the bracelet disconnected (fortunately the watch did not fall, as I was lounging on the couch).

The fit and finish of this watch is excellent. I really like the band on this watch. The band looks amazing. It is one of my favorite watch bands. There is another version of this exact same watch that looks like it has more links/striations across the width of the band that is a couple hundred dollars pricier and I think this band actually looks a lot better and more expensive at the cheaper price. I also like the kinetic direct drive. I can see how high the charge is on the watch. This watch seems to keep its charge quite well, better than other Seiko watches I have.

I had to choose between 4 and 5 stars. I'd probably have ranked it a 4.5 if I could have. There are a few little things I don't like, but that wasn't enough to knock it down from a 5 to a 4.

1.) There is so much stuff fitted onto the face of this watch that the numbers can be somewhat hard to read like:
    a) The number of the day of the month
    b) The day of the week
    c) The hour on the 24 hour (military) time section
2.) This is a fairly heavy watch, even quite heavier than my other kinetic watches or automatic watches.
3.) The time can be a little hard to read at times
    a) There are so many shiny parts to the watch. The hour and minute hands tend to blend in.
    b) The hour and minute hands are slim and pointed. Its stylish, but makes it harder to read.
    c) Unlike many of Seiko's other watches there is no glow in the dark material on the hour and minute hands, making it hard to
    read in the dark.

So if you don't have the best of vision with 20/20 vision like me. Or you don't like having to read the watch fairly up close. Then this watch may not be for you. Or it may not be for you if you don't like heavy watches.
