This watch is a real showstopper. The picture does it no justice. The face is quite large but not too large. The calfskin band has a deployment clasp. The polished stainless steel and sapphire crystal shimmer very nicely in the light. The perpetual calendar keeps track of leap years and the watch is equipped with auto-relay so that the hands fall asleep after 24 hours of non-use to preserve energy but saves the correct time for up to 4 years. The watch comes back to life with a few shakes and the hands go back to the correct time automatically. All in all, you cannot find such a functional and beautiful watch for anywhere near this modest price. I suggest searching for this watch on Ebay as I got mine from there for under four hundred dollars.

I've owned this watch for over a year and I can say without doubt this is the best looking, most reliable and accurate watch I have ever owned (I have owned a fair few watches in my time!). It is perfect for everyday or dress use.

The band does take a little getting used to, but it is very adjustable and comfortable (Once you find the right hole in the strap that suits the size of your wrist).

I've worn this watch daily in all weather and the leather strap is holding up well. It shows some signs of wear but no signs of breaking, I trust it to keep the watch on my wrist 100%

My only complaint would be that the hands do not glow in the dark, so trying to tell the time at night can be slightly annoying, however this is a minor complaint.

Overall I am extremely happy with this watch.

Looked at many watches before making this purchase. When watch arrived it was much more eye catching than the photos. The overall elegant appearance, quality of the leather strap and perpetual technology surpassed all my expectations. Have received many compliments on this watch. It looks good when you dress up or wearing casual. The technology of the kinetic perpetual is awesome! I like this watch so much I will probably buy one of the other Seiko premier watches.
