This band is LOW QUALITY. The links are thin folded steal, not solid. The sizing is done with low-quality stamped "bars", not pins or screws. The closure is single interference fit, not double with a press-lock. There is a lot of play and rattle to the band. I've seen better bands on $30 Pulsar watches. I bought this for a Seiko SKX009 and while it does fit and looks decent, it's not of the same level of quality as the watch itself. I'm honestly questioning if it's authentic Seiko because I've never seen a band this cheap elsewhere with the Seiko name on it. For the same price you can get a solid link screw-sized double-lock closure Oyster from Hong Kong on eBay. I would avoid this band if you plan on fitting it to a higher quality watch... it simply doesn't measure up.

This watch band is SO worth the money!! It totally changes the look of my Seiko Men's SKX173 Automatic Dive Urethane Strap Watch from sporty to a much more refined look. I also bought one of the watch tools so I could replace the old band with the new one and make the size adjustments and it was easy to do. I did have to bring it to a jewelers and have them remove one link because I couldn't figure out how to do that and I didn't want to screw it up. Now that the band is at the adjustment I need, I can switch between the black band and this one is just a few moments. I love everything about this band and how it makes my watch look!

When I originally purchased my Orient Mako, I got it with a rubber strap. I later decided I really wanted a metal band. So I got this one and it's not too bad. It uses an odd link system where the pins are wide and take up most of the link. You sort of pry them out from a hole underneath. It's a bit hard to explain. It works ok, but I prefer the regular push pins. I will say, you don't need a specialty tool to change the links, so that is a plus. A miniature screwdriver works well.

The quality is good for the price. The links are a bit loose and clinky, but it has all the needed adjustments to get it to fit well. The endlinks are not solid, so you have to press them down to tighten them. Not a big deal, but solid endlinks are much better.

Overall it worked out well. It's not the best band you can buy, but for the price it's a good buy.

I have a Seiko watch and the band I purchased matches the original watch I have. The price was right, and the only drawback to the purchase is that the band had to be trimmed a little bit to make it fit the watch. The band is a high quality stainless steel product and is worth the price I paid for it.

I ordered this based on the description and reviews in the hope that it would fit my Luminox stainless steel diver's watch. Not only did it fit perfectly, I was hard-pressed to see a difference. The notable difference, of course, is the price difference. For the Luminox brand SS braclet you are looking at well over $100. Pretty good deal!

Excelent band and it was easy to replace on my dive watch with the tools I bought as well. Great buy from Amazon!

I wore the Seiko divers watch with this original band for about 6 years before the band finally just gave up. I talked to a jeweler about replacement and they wanted to charge me $50 to replace it. As long as you can double check that this is the replacement band for your watch (and you have the ability to use smaller screwdrivers correctly), it'll fit perfectly! Now, it's like having a new watch (although now I'd like to get the crystal replaced!). By the way, if you can't replace the band yourself (and I doubt it is sincerely a problem for most people who are remotely handy), you should at least buy it on Amazon and take it to a jeweler and then they'll only charge you a token fee (like $5) like they would to replace a watch battery. Either way you'll be ahead.

I bought this watch for my Seiko automatic diver's watch. Like the previous reviewer, I had to have smaller spring bars installed, but since I had the band put on at a watch shop, I simply traded them for the smaller diameter pins. The band arrived in a heat sealed bag, well packaged and well protected. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that shipping was via Parcel Post, which is relatively slow. The package took about a week to arrive. The shipping fees, though, were extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again, and I've referred several friends to them.
