I purchased this watch through Amazon and I am very happy with it. Although the dial is described as being blue, it is a very dark blue that almost looks black. The styling is very simple and elegant. This is not the kind of watch one would wear to show off.

I bought this watch because it has both the day and date feature and it has luminous hands and hour markers. I'm also a huge fan of Seiko watches. I also wanted a leather band as opposed to a metal one.

This watch is light and comfortable and very tasteful. It can be worn in the most formal of events as well as to the office. I recommend this watch.

I recently received this watch as a gift and can't be happier with it. It is classically styled that does not stick out and can easily be worn with many different attires from business to casual. The build quality is typical Seiko and seems exceptional for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Has the clean appearance that I was looking for. Smaller and thinner than many other watches so it looks better on my smaller wrist. Have had it for only a couple of months but it works well and the face doesn't have any scratches yet. No regrets.

Nice-looking watch, but, unbelievably, the strap buckle is PLASTIC. That's right -- Seiko has made this watch with a plastic buckle, which is to say the least not what I expected from this brand, even for $95. The crappy old $35 Timex that I bought this to replace even had a metal buckle on the strap for Pete's sake.

I had the watch about a month when I noticed the day was not rotating and had to send it back to Seko for repair I was unhappy with the cost of shipping plus insurance.

I haven't owned a nice watch in years as I can be very rough on them, particularly the crystals. The price was great, the watch looked beautiful in the photos and reviews in general were very good, so I decided to buy it.

Upsides: This is a beautiful watch with a nice leather band and steel clasp, and appears to keep pretty accurate time since purchased on 2-4-2011. The crystal has not shown any scratches so far and is supposed to be much more scratch resistant than some.

Downsides: Changing the date at the end of Feb. was cumbersome and very time consuming. The luminous material on the dial hour markers does not work that well.

POST SCRIPT: I just reread the description for this watch and it says there is a day/date function at 3 o'clock. I will look into this to see if it will shorten changing the day/date.

Would I buy this watch again? For the price and quality....you betcha.

This band is not the best quality it is not very soft on the wrist. Thankfully bands are easily replaceable and you are not just paying for a band here. This is a great watch, very elegant. Good for the small wristed fellows out there.

My girlfriend bought me this watch four months ago as a present and I'm still very happy with it. I have thinner than average wrists and the watch is a perfect size and weight. It looks nice and formal without being flashy. The time is completely accurate and it is easy to change the date/time. I remove one star because the second hand does not line up accurately with the tick marks on the watch and it would be nice to have more options for strap color.

I purchased this watch as a gift to my boyfriend two years ago. It is an understated yet very elegant watch. Simple, but refined. The black would probably be handsome on just about anyone.

The featured glowing hands don't work that well....you have to purposely expose it to a lamp or some such if you want that feature to function. However, the timepiece works nicely; every now and then it needs to be wound to fix a minute or two but overall runs well.

The face of the watch seems to be scratch resistant; I did not shove my face up to it, but on casual scrutiny I still can't seem to find any major scratches over the course of two years' worth of wear. The band is a nice leather....to preserve the band, make sure to take the watch off if your wrists will be exposed to water, such as showering or maybe washing hands. If the band does deteriorate, though (for my boyfriend it did because he almost never took it off) it is easily replaceable.

An excellent watch for an excellent price, sure to be a pleasing gift or purchase for oneself.

I bought this watch for my husband's 75th birthday. He was having a hard time reading his other two watches and I liked the little silver triangles at each hour setting. He has not taken the watch off since he got it on 5-11-09 (except to go to bed). A winner !!!!
