This is a great watch. It is classy looking and is not that expensive. I love it, and you can wear it with anything. It can be a casual watch or a luxurious watch at the same time. Seiko has done a great job and this watch is a 10/10.

This watch is my second one. A word to the wise; do not get drunk and take off a good watch that looks like it is worth more than it is around people you do not fully trust. That being said, the watch is very durable, modest yet very tasteful. It always functioned without a hitch, keeps time very well, and was easy to keep clean. The weight is right on also not as heavy as a Rolex but not as light as a digital. This is an update of the SGF 719. The clasp and the way you change its size are the only differences between these two models. Great watch, great price.

This is a great watch. I've had mine for a few years and I've received many compliments. Its not very heavy which is a plus because I work on a computer 6-8 hours a day and I don't have to take it off.

The days of the week are in both spanish and english.

Very simple, yet solidly constructed and stylish. No fancy bells, whistles or bling, but this seems to be the kind of watch that you can hang onto for a long time and not worry too much if something happens to it. My only complaint is that the calendar takes its sweet time at the start of every new day; all in all it takes roughly 3 and a half hours for it to fully update itself, so if you happen to look at it between 11:30pm and 3:00am you'll find it in the middle of changing over. Not a horrible flaw, but something to take note of if that sort of thing will drive you insane.

A fantastic watch for the money, especially considering any discount on the suggested retail value - even full price is well worth the money. It's a simple design that still manages to make a statement. One of my favorite parts about this steel watch is not only its simplicity, but also the thin case; my personal preference is a watch that is less than 10mm thick. It's versatile enough to wear casually or with any degree of "fancy" attire. It's not too bulky, keeps time accurately, and the week/day display doesn't detract from the aesthetics of the piece.

The first time I bought this watch was from a local retailer since it was exactly what I was looking for. I sadly lost it not too long ago, but I liked the watch so much that I ordered another one from Amazon.com! It just came in the mail and I am pleased to say that it is still fantastic and one of my favorite watches that I've ever owned.

The watch looks better than in the picture!!!!!! The stainless steel finish is very elegant.

I love watches. Now have 12 but the one I wear everyday is this Seiko. I had a watch stolen while on a cruise, and stopped to buy a cheap replacement. I didn't want a black-faced watch, but once I put this one on I was really taken by how beautiful it is. The chrome bezel really sets it off, as do the chrome inserts in the stainless band. Seiko really got it right with this watch, and you can't beat the price (only around $100). As for accuracy, it has gained only about two minutes a year. Compare that with the swiss automatics costing thousands more. The Seiko is far more accurate and a lot easier to live with. Very comfortable to wear.

If you're on the fence looking for a watch, try this one on! You won't want to take it off.

I was lucky enough to buy this on Amazon after christmas for $55. and it was a steal. Beautiful watch, thin and comfortable. The seiko I have now is similar and is 20 years old and still works perfectly, except for a scratched face. If I have even half that much luck with this watch I will be ecstatic. The bracelet band needed to have several links taken out and I am a pretty big guy so expect to take it to a jeweler for proper fit. It was only a $5.00 job so no big deal. I love it. Thanks Amazon.

This watch is fantastic! I enjoy wearing it to work and not only does it meet the description but it surpasses it quite a bit. The watch feels exactly like you would expect a Seiko to feel, durable and smooth. What the description doesn't mention is just how shiny this watch is. I bought it under the impression that the watch would be kinda dull and plain and i would wear it to work instead of my nicer watches so they don't get banged up. Once it got here though it is very clearly not a dull watch. It catches the light and throws it in a very elegant manner. The hour markers are probably the most shiny but overall the watch is fantastic looking. Also the black isn't kinda dull like the picture makes it, it is very deep and nice looking, i guess i should have paid attention when i read "dress watch" in the title!

This is a very nice watch for the price. I was considering a few other watches from similar brands before I purchased this and was skeptical as it cost so much less than the others. The value is definitely there. It's great looking watch, very comfortable, and a steal for $55.
