It is light, scratch free no batteries it is just great. This is my 3rd excat same watch in the last 10 years, because I lost the two previous ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time Keeper, October 4, 2005
This review is from: Seiko Men's SKH202 Kinetic Titanium Watch (Watch)
I've owned many Swiss watches, Breitling, Rolex, Raymond Weil, Omega, Baume & Mercier, Swiss Army, and a few that I can't even remember their names, I went back to buying Seikos, because tick for tick, they keep equal or better time. My Rolex DateJust, is an example of complete workmanship, and is Chronometer Certified, but it doesn't keep time better than a Seiko Quartz. Muchless, any Quartz cheapo on the market. The reason why, I bought this Kinetic watch is that it's design is for smaller wrist, and it's combination of color, which accents Grey with gold tone. Titanium construction was alo a factor, it's light, yet stronger than steel. I paid a premium for a solid titanium bracelet from Breitling, almost $500. Although the Seiko Bracelet is not as well made as the Breitling, it costs two Seiko (of the model descibed) watches less.

Swiss Watches are Great, provided you have the resources to expend, however, for my money, I prefer a Seiko Kinetic to a Swiss Self-Winding. Reason: if it gets banged-up or stops working, I just buy another. I can buy 10 Seiko kinectics to one Premium Swiss watch, and I can buy a new one every year if I choose to do so. I can't do the same with a Premium Swiss. You decide!

An Added note: There was a discrepency in the product description due to Amazon Partnership. The product that I ordered did not have a see-thru caseback, and the luminous markers was too old to be functional. the watch documentation indicated that it was made in 2002. Amazon. however compensated me for this, and I was most pleased. The Watch keeps perfect time, and is as described with the exception of my described conflict. Regardless, this is still a good buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent timekeeper, great crystal, with one flaw ---, April 2, 2008
This review is from: Seiko Men's SKH202 Kinetic Titanium Watch (Watch)
I bought this watch 5 years ago, and it has run within a second or two per month of perfect time every since. The crystal resists scratches extremely well. The case and band look like new also when cleaned with soap and water. The clear window back is neat. The only problem is that these watches were until recently sold with a capacitor for power storage instead of a battery, and the capacitors fail after a few years and have to be replaced at a cost not far short of $100. The repair consists primarily of installing a rechargeable battery instead of the capacitor, and this should last longer -- I hope -- since I just paid for the repair. I think Seiko goofed, but the watch is great except for that problem, and the price relative to other high-quality watches is much lower, so it still is worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seiko Titanium Watch, November 11, 2005

I've had the watch for 3 months and am very happy with it. The watch is light weight and looks nice. I've brushed the watch up against a few objects but cystal remains unscratched. My only disappointment was that the hands and hour markers are not luminous as indicated by the product description. As indicated by other reviews this has been a problem before.
