Also in the stop-watch mode the way it operates can be very confusing. In my eyes this watch definitely does not come up to the usual Seiko brand quality. It seems that this is more of a theme in recent years. A Seiko watch used to be one of the best watches you could buy, maybe those days are gone.
Would definitely not purchase again.
Update: I've now had the watch for 8 months. As mentioned above, I returned the watch for warranty work to have the crown reinstalled. Since the watch was returned, everything has been great, until the past week. Now, after 8 months, the watch is losing time. I re-set the watch at this time yesterday, and it's now almost half an hour behind. That's crazy if I need to replace the battery after 8 months. Hopefully that's all it is...
That said, I would agree that this watch has both sub dials and main hands that are hard to see in direct sunlight. Also the band is extremely lightweight in comparison to the watch case, which may seem unbalanced on one's wrist.
