    Pro: Very nice timepiece.

From my experience, any titanium watch can gradually get scratched up if you're too rough on it, but the scratches are very small and not visible from a few feet away.

Not only does it possess a classic look that goes well with whatever I'm wearing, its light weight continues to surprise me; I often forget that I'm wearing it.

I have an earlier version of this watch and even though it's far from the most expensive watch in my collection, it has become one of my favorites and is on my wrist more frequently than any of my other timepieces. Not only does it possess a classic look that goes well with whatever I'm wearing, its light weight continues to surprise me; I often forget that I'm wearing it.

And for those who complain about this - or any other titanium watch - scratching when rubbed against soft surfaces, sorry, but "titanium" does not mean "scratch-proof". Although titanium is a harder metal than stainless steel, it unfortunately oxidizes easily. This causes titanium surfaces to look dull and the oxide layer is softer than the underlying titanium metal. This layer is easier to scratch and when it does, the brighter titanium surface below becomes visible.

I had been looking for a quality titanium watch for regular day to day use. This watch is a great combination of titanium toughness/light weight and Seiko quality. Grey elegance... fantastic!

It's really the best casual watch I ever had. (Had some other Seiko and Swatch beforehand). It's inexpensive, precise and light. The dial has enough contrast, so the hour can be read even in twilight. The case is very thin, which makes the watch even more pleasant.
The downsides are that the titanium is easily scratched, and the hardlex glass is not scratch proof neither. It did accumulate some scratches over the years, but it didn't make much difference. When it was stolen, I promptly decided to buy another one.

I am extremely happy with this Seiko. First titanium watch I've ever owned, so even though I knew it would feel light, I wasn't prepared for how light it would feel. It still has a nice presence on my wrist.

The hardlex crystal is very clear, and the face of the watch has a clean look. The alarm function was as tricky to set as others have noted, but I finally understood it. Surely, the instructions could be written better, but it's not the end of the world.

Very happy with adding this Seiko to my collection.

    Light, good looking, easy-to-read dial.
Lume isn't great, bracelet is not comfortable if your wrist rests against a desk.
Overall, I am very happy with this watch.

I've had mine for 4 and 1/2 years and have had NO issues with it. it looks good with a suit, jeans and tee-shirt, leather jacket, polo shirt or anything even with just my boxers on. it's a good looking, classy watch. as far as durability; it has acquired a scratch here and there, but I have worked doing laborious handy tasks numerous times and that's to be expected.

it is worth full retail and if you get it for less you've made out.

Pro: Very nice timepiece. This watch is attractive with a high quality appearance. The titanium band and case is nearly feather light and the case and crystal are very low profile, not big and bulky like similar looking watches. I would recommend it.

Con: Two weeks after I received the watch the battery died. I can get the battery replaced locally but, a bit of a pain. Other than that one minor glitch, ($15 for a new battery) the watch is worth it. I understand that these items can sit in stock for long periods of time and that's not the sellers (Amazon) fault. My

Yes, I would buy the watch again.
