Large and in charge, the Seiko SNA487 stainless steel men's chronograph timepiece will feel at home both in the boardroom or on a wakeboard. The chronograph can measure up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, and the alarm hands can indicate the time in a different time zone. The oversized round watch case measures 1.6 inches wide and sits prominently on your wrist. It features a gunmetal gray TICN (titanium/carbon/nitride) bezel with tachymeter readings, a black dial background, silver luminous baton hands, luminous dial markers, and small minute indexes that surround the outer dial. The silver stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished links and is joined by a double-locking fold-over clasp with safety. Other features include Japanese quartz movement, date function at 3 o'clock, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet).

Warranty
This Seiko watch is covered by a limited 3-year manufacturer's warranty (includes 1st year worldwide coverage with 2nd and 3rd years valid only in the United States). This warranty does not cover the strap, crystal, watch bracelet, battery, or any watch accessory. This includes, but is not limited to, any pouch or belt attached to the watch. If the watch is repaired or serviced by anyone other than Seiko, the warranty becomes void.

It surely looks good. Like the Omega Moon-Watch maybe? Well, that fooled me too..

It arrived on time and my initial objections were minor: the quality of the bracelet (not very thick and with quite wide links, not exactly easy to bring to one's wrist size), the crown (generic, no logo) and the small thickness of the body (does not sit firmly on the wrist).

Then the red timer hand kept slipping just next to 12 after some time, even though it did came an exact stop when reset. The crystal proved to be not that scratch resistant: the golden bracelet of a careless lady managed to produce two majestic parallel scratches (gold is the softest of metals keep in mind)...Then, disaster.

16 Months later: the lower button got stuck in the pressed position. Never dropped it, never came close to any magnet. It just got stuck.
Watch was sent for repair (to official SEIKO Service). They informed me that although well within the "3 year" warranty, this does not cover the case and, thus, it would cost 89$! I had it send back, will try an UNOFFICIAL repair-shop.

I had cheap plastic watches that lasted longer!!

SEIKO's quality and service greatly disappointed me....

Be careful when you order watches from Amazon as they come from another Vendor. I bought this watch from Amazon in November for a Christmas present for our son. It does not work and I want to exchange it or refund it. World Watches will not even talk with me as they have a 30 day return policy. Well if you buy it November 10th and find out on December 31st that it doesn't work...guess what your over the 30 days and World Watches nor Amazon will deal with you on a return or refund. I am not very happy with the customer care issue on this product. World Watches states: read the refund policy before you purchase!!!
