A sapphire crystal watch for 99 bucks? I jumped on it. I'm tough on watches and sapphire is the only way to go or it gets scratched up in a month. I've never seen a real sapphire crystal for this price so, I got it.

I'm glad I did. I like watches thin and light for everyday use but also solid. I'm very happy with it.

The only drag is the big second hand only works in chronograph mode. Regular time, the seconds are shown with the tiny second hand on the left. No biggie. Also, if your eyes are bad it may be hard to see the time on a quick glance since there is a lot of conflicting gold color going on. But again, no biggie.

This watch is beautiful and elegant. Although it was purchased as a gift for a friend, I have to admit, I was a little jealous that I didn't own one. The negative comment that I read before purchasing was that the dial was hard to read, but I have to disagree. The contrast is subtle, but certainly clear enough to read with no problem. After all, this is not a utility watch. The design is pure dress. I would pit it against any other dress watch that would be far more expensive than what I paid.

As with most Seiko watches, this watch is very good looking. It has a nice bracelet and the clasp works well.

The narrow, gold colored hour and minute hands blend into the background of the watch face. This makes telling the time at a glance difficult.

I use this watch during the daytime and/or in well lit rooms. Forget about trying to read this watch at night.

I think this watch is a steal for 99 dollars. I looked at other websites selling the same item and the price is double or triple for the same watch. I got mine in an excellent brand new condition and really love it.

This watch is just OK. Smaller then it looks in pic and very thin. Came looking like it was used or a display model. Seems to keep OK time. Was easy to adjust time and date. I would try to find this watch local and see and feel it. You might be disappointed if you don't. Price is good at $99... Good Luck.

I have always purchased Seiko watches; fashionable, excellent quality for money and has very good resale value.
This particular model is simply beautiful, easy to operate and given the price should be considered a steal. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional quality at an extremely reasonable price.

I love the watch and would buy it again. My only complaint is that the hands (hour and minute) are a little thin and hard to see in low light conditions.

I found this watch to be a very nice looking and attractive watch. It was difficult to tell the time at a glance because the hour and minute hands didn't stand out well enough against the rest of the items on the face. I had no alternative but to return the watch for a credit. The price was right though.

A solid, reliable watch. Although it does not have all the features of its more recent digital counterparts, it is certainly a good value for the price.

To address the previous comment, my watch came looking new and not like a "display model." It keeps excellent time and is elegantly slim. The watch exudes quality and 99 dollars is a ridiculously low price for this watch. It's a closeout. Check out what other online discount dealers are selling this watch for and while you're out there look at a decent picture of the watch which amazon failed to give you. It's quality and you can feel it in the way the chronograph buttons depress solidly, the 1/5 second movement of the timing hand, the way the steel wraps around the wrist and the detail in the dial sitting under the sapphire. Alarm feature is a little quiet but it's a unique sound: rather than the BEEP BEEP of other digital watches, this one sort of goes bo-ing, bo-ing. I'm glad I got it.
