I bought the watch as a replacement for one purchased 40+ years ago in Japan.This watch is heavier with a large wrist length. I have made attempts to remove links to have it fit my wrist. I have not had success. A jeweler may be the thing. It is a heavier watch than before. It is automatic, but you will have to reset the time each morning if you allow it to sit on a dresser overnight. Overall, a sleek and great watch.
