One Size Fits All Bracelet?... I Don't Think So!
on December 14, 2014
This review is for anyone with big hands, wrists and forearms.
I did read all the reviews and specs on this fine timepiece;
so I knew the bracelet was one size fits all. You'd think with
a watch of this quality, Seiko would've incorporated an adjustable
bracelet. Alas they did not. I have huge hands, very wide wrists
and thick forearms. So large in fact, I can't even close the clasp.
Daily workouts may be great for your overall health and appearance,
but it sure makes buying off the rack difficult! The watch itself
is truly top notch. My 3 star rating is based solely on Seiko's
shortsightedness regarding the aforementioned one size "DOESN'T"
fit all bracelet. I just took it to a local Jeweler, who fortunately
for me happens to be an Authorized Seiko dealer and service center.
I was told that adding links is simple, but obtaining them may not be.
Pardon the corny, cliche pun... but time will tell. Even if you have
small hands and/or thin to normal size wrists and forearms; in all
likelihood you'll be having links removed. It's not expensive, but it
is damn inconvenient and would've been totally unnecessary if Seiko
simply followed Timex's adjustable bracelet design.
