I have managed to use the hand setting (second click on the crown) to get it semi-adjusted.

Their warranty policy would not guaranty that if I sent it in that it would be repaired.

I've had many Seiko watches over the past 25 years, and this is one of my favorites. The perpetual calendar dutifully changes the date correctly at the end of each month, and the accuracy of my watch has been excellent -- within a few seconds per month.

The dial is very nice and changes appearance from different angles and in different light sources. The bracelet is surprisingly good for a watch in this price range -- it is a solid-link design with an adjustable dual-catch clasp. Unlike many of Seiko's dressier watches, this one uses standard 20mm end links, so you could swap the bracelet out for a leather strap for a change of pace.

I did extensive research on Seiko watches before choosing this one. I had a kinetic Seiko before and it did not work well at all. Still I'm a big Seiko fan. This is perhaps the best Seiko I've ever owned. It looks great, the band is comfortable, and so far it keeps the time and date flawlessly.

I have had this watch for 2 years now, purchasing it from MACY's in NY, while visiting there. Its very stylish, and the perpetual calendar feature is very useful. Infact it's close to resembling a similar blue Rolex.

I purchased this watch for my hubby for Christmas through an Amazon Marketplace vendor. I was impressed with the watch just seeing it online, but the blue face is even more gorgeous on my hubby's arm. The picture online doesn't do it justice, but another customer had photographed the watch on his own arm, which gave me a better idea of how nice a gift it would be. I am very pleased with this purchase, and my husband likes it very much.

I bought this watch about 2 years ago from Amazon. Just the right touch of class, style and subtlety without gaudiness. You will look like a well mannered man who shows his style without shouting it. Very accurate timepiece and well built. I have only adjusted the time twice and that was for - as you might expect - for daylight savings each year. I have received several compliments on this watch. While I don't fish for compliments it is certainly nice to see people with a keen sense for quality and style watch the things you wear and find it in themselves to make a positive comment. That should speak for the record on this Seiko watch. I would buy it again but the way this one runs I don't think I will have to anytime soon.

Please expect wear that corresponds to your line of work but the high finish will not disappoint. Absolutely no tarnish or fading. Absolutely no service calls to date. Just set it and forget it.

I removed one link for proper sizing which I did myself with a very inexpensive adjustment kit ($3-$7) from Amazon. It was an almost effortless operation. You can always bring to watch store as well.

    Highly recommended.

my wife bought me this watch as a gift. the second hand is right on the ticks! the blue dial is cool. the perpetual calendar feature is awesome -- I've only had it a month and it did in fact work. dial indicates "Japan". overall this is a great value.
I had a Seiko railroad watch previously... it worked well until the crown started acting up making it difficult to adjust -- not a big deal though, I'm still a Seiko fan.

The watch very nice and arrived faster than I expected. The clasp on the band is very easy to put on and take off. I have had two other Seiko watches and they each lasted for at least 5 years. I wear a watch every day no matter what I am doing and I am kind of hard on them. The Seiko watches I have always kept perfect time also.

Seiko Men's SNQ010 Perpetual Calendar Watch
    REVISED JULY - 2014
After just two years, I have to revise my opinion of the watch and SEIKO.
Last night I gently pulled on the stem to reset the time by a couple of minutes. The whole thing came out in my hand. I then contacted SEIKO telling them what happened, and asking if this would be repaired under their warranty program. After all, as a reputable manufacturer, I felt they should know about this obvious defect. A mid-quality watch, with SEIKO"S, (prior), excellent reputation should last more than two years. Their response: - "Amazon is not an authorized vendor. Send us the watch and we will provide a repair estimate." So, before you jump at the next SEIKO bargain, recognize that SEIKO doesn't really care about their customers and you could be stuck with a useless piece of junk!!!!

I looked at Seiko perpetual calender watches a number of times, but always found them at a price, ($200. +), higher than I was willing to pay. When I found this one at less than $80.00 on Amazon, I couldn't say no. It's a beautiful, functional time piece. Quite frankly at this price I fully expected a "Chinese knockoff". But after checking it out and having the watch's serial number recognized and accepted by the Seiko warranty registration web site I'm convinced it's the genuine article. Some might find this watch a little heavy on the wrist, but after an initial short time wearing it, I forget it's even there.
