This refined, modernistic men's watch from Seiko fully explores the virtues of monochrome, from a deep black dial, to a polished stainless steel bezel, to the white stitching on the black leather band. The dial, which features a perpetual date calendar at the three o'clock position, is for the most part unencumbered -- elegant and easy to read, but without numerals. Clean indexes of stainless steel denote hours, and minute indexes are set off with white lines in an outer, less reflectively black dial. The bezel is polished stainless steel with circular markings serving as indexes at the two, four, six, eight, 10, and 12 o'clock positions. The watch uses quartz movement and has a mineral crystal.

Need degree to set the calendar,
I love the watch, but was dismayed when reading the manual on how to set the calendar. Luckily, the current day/month/year is already set at the factory. I only hope I never have to do this, as four years of college wouldn't be enough to figure out these instructions!

Good price for a nice looking, useful watch. Leather band could be better. I would pay 10 dollar more for a better band.
