a nice watch elegant and beautiful talves only thing I miss to be perfect according to me is that the second largest one is not walking and used to it but otherwise I recommend

I had a seiko before, Kinetic, but the internal automatic system was dying out. this was after 10 years of daily use. bought this one due to being Seiko and looks like a great watch for the price I got it for on Amazon. looks better that the watches they sell on tv.

My fiancée gave me this watch for an early wedding present. I searched in stores and online for about 2 months to select the perfect watch, and this is it for me. It features classic Seiko items such as the sapphire crystal, Japanese movement, glow-in-the-dark watch hands, 10 Bar water resistant, excellent durability, etc. I love the modern styling, this is not the same boring watch that my father and grand father had.

This watch also features a 24-hour alarm, yachting timers in 5, 6, & 10 minute increments, countdown timer, chronograph, date window, and daily alarm. The user guide is online from Seiko if it is not included with the watch. A 10-20 minute read will instruct you how to use all of the features. I personally keep mine on the 24-hour alarm (TIME setting on the face) because I can easily set key reminders.

Because of the yachting features, the numbers around the face range from 1-16, instead of the 1-12. Previous reviewers have complained about this for various reasons. If this annoys you, then don't buy this watch. It in no way affects how you use the watch or how you read time. It did take some getting used to, but after a few days of daily wear, it is no longer an issue for me.

Overall, I absolutely love this watch. I wear it daily and get compliments pretty regularly on my watch. I plan on one day passing this watch down to my future children. I recommend to anyone seeking a solid, sharp looking, feature loaded watch.

The watch is well built and high quality. However, there are two functions that I do not like. Otherwise I will give 5 stars to it.
The first is the marked number. It has 1 to 16. instead of 1 to 12. This is little bit confused when you need to read the time. The second is the center hand is not for second. It is just used to point to the center. It is never move. The second hand actually is the small hand on the left most circle.

I bought this for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. Could not have done any better. Special features on watch. Classic/modern look. Highly recommend this watch!

Nice and comfortable watch to wear. Feels heavy to hold, but not when wearing it. Watch band is nice and comfortable.

First day after I got it and I'm feeling a lot of remorse. I'll still give this five stars, as it's very beautiful and has functionality beyond what I'll probably use, but I'm feeling pretty bad and here's why:
- I know it'd be ridiculous to expect everything in this world to be perfect, but couldn't this have been made with Tungsten Carbide instead? Stainless steel scratches so much. This watch had only been passed around eight or nine relatives and I can already notice several fine scratches on the case and band. I really worry about how often I'll have to get it polished. Anyone know any good watch polish or tutorials to do it yourself?
- Yacht racing timer. I'm not going to use this and I think the watch would look better with this functionality removed. Of course, you can't always get what you want, right?
- It's $250, give or take $10, for this watch. Yes, I know its list price is well over $500 (nearing $600, in fact), so it's a great deal... but that doesn't mean it's not expensive. Being more of a tech guy, I can think of a list of other things I could've bought: RAM, $50 more for a PS3, mechanical keyboard, solid state drive, $50 more for a G27 racing wheel. I mean, compared to a lot of watches out there, this is really damn cheap for how amazing it looks...
- But "it's a Seiko." Honestly, I don't care about name brands, but when someone said that to me, it hit really hard for some reason. I mean I had several watches lined up and I was deciding which one to buy - some were name brands, others weren't - and the list comprised of what I thought looked good and had what I wanted in a watch. The most expensive one, I think, was well over $2,000 and the least expensive, somewhere around $70-$100. In the end, in a close match between two other (less expensive) watches, I chose this. Maybe it was how close the other two were that's making me feel this way... who knows.

It's a nice watch. Very nice watch. And after I get it adjusted to my size, maybe I'll be happier... but man, I'm feeling horrible right now, haha. Funny, I'll spend $3-4k on a computer, but $250 on a watch destroys me. On another note though, if this were made of Tungsten Carbide? Totally different story.

Es mi primer Seiko.

Lo primero que tengo que decir es que las fotos se quedan cortas para mostrar lo espectacular que es el reloj.

En lo particular el reloj puede que tenga varias funciones que nunca utilizaré (Las funciones de Yate) pero el solo verlas hace único el reloj y llama la atención de todos.

Lo único que no me gusto es la caja en que viene el reloj, se queda corta para lo bueno que es. Además al compararlo con un Tissot la caja se ve Fea.

Para resumir: ESPECTACULAR!!! y a un súper precio!!
