I purchased a watch for my son's graduation from college last June. But he didn't like it so we returned it. He kept looking out for the watch he wanted and finally found it on Amazon. I ordered it and it turned out to be exactly what he wanted. It is not too large on his wrist, has the chronograph and the strap is slim and durable. Recent feedback from him - he wears it everyday and loves it.

Great for very casual wear, not really office material, though. I wanted a watch that was very easily read in complete darkness, and the Seiko solars are tops. Love the texture of the solar face. But, this is NOT a compass with a North-pointing hand/arrow. The compass feature relies on the aligning the watch hands with the sun, which must be visible. So, no night, no clouds, no way. The band is tough and leather reinforced at the buckle holes. But, not actually the most comfortable.

Bought this watch to pair with another Seiko Solar Diver Chronograph that I have. The styling is sporty and it keeps time accurately, I still need to learn its compass feature, but makes me wonder when I'll need to use it. But I recommend this watch to future buyers.

Very nice watch. It is little bit uncomfortable to wear, because dial is touching top of hand and it does not have any protection. Other than that no complaints.
