Received this product very quickly-4 days to Australia. The product was new except that there was a small mark on the bezel and this bezel was able to be rotated (which it is not supposed to do). I would say that for the price and being worn by myself, I can put up with it, but if it was for someone else it would be unacceptable.
The price reflected the defect in the watch, but it should have been mentioned in the description. Poor form by the retailer.C.Shorrock-Australia.

This is a beautiful timepiece. The stainless steel case and bracelet fit very nice on the wrist, and are quite comfortable. The sapphire crystal adds to the high end design, along with the bezel with Alan screws around the perimeter. I really like the unique crown design of this Velatura series. It has a highly functional crown & separate drive wheel system that is like no other timepiece I have experienced. The white dial has a terrific vertical textured look (almost 3 dimensional), with date, retrograde day, and power reserve complications that are intelligently placed for a sophisticated, yet elegant look. The power reserve meter also doubles as a current power generation indicator. When winding the drive wheel or shaking your wrist during wear, the meter indicates amount of generated power during that moment, accelerating as you generate more. When at rest after 4 seconds, the indicator cycles back to total power reserve. This gives a level of connection to the timepiece that is pretty amazing and hard to put into words. The lume on this timepiece is probably the brightest I've seen. Great view ability in low light!

Seiko hit a home run with this timepiece and movement! I will have years of enjoyment with this in my collection!
