So much...for so little..., February 12, 2009
This review is from: Seiko Wrist Watches-Seiko 5 SNK619K1 Automatic Mechanical Self-Winding Siver Dial Date Day Stainless Steel Water Resistance Men's Watch (Watch)
Seiko 5 SNK619K1:
Pretty solid timepiece!
It's a definite timepiece for your dressy days...as well as dressing up your jeans days. It looks like you spent at least $300.00 for it. It comes with a black dial, and grey dial, as well as the silver dial. The full day display at the 6 position is very eye-catching, as is the Saturday in blue, and Sunday in red. It contains the 7S26B variant from Seiko. The bracelet has folded links that are both brushed and high polished, and appear to be strong. The watch is not a lightweight, nor is it heavy. It has an exhibition caseback so that you can see the beautiful movement, and the case itself is classically styled---not large, and not small, just about 37mm---as was used in the old days. Original Seiko box and documentation was included.
I purchased this watch from 007-watch-midpoint. I am so happy that I decided to do business with them. The packaging was terrific, and I was very happy that they required a signature---VERY professional.

***PLEASE NOTE: When a Seiko model is identified as having a "K" and a number next to the model #, it is a reference to a stainless steel bracelet, or a rubber strap. IT IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS FOR SOMEONE TO STATE AND BELIEVE THAT IT REFERS TO KNOCKOFF STATUS. FURTHERMORE, WOULDN'T A TRUE KNOCKOFF BE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE---WHERE'S THE PROFIT?

I think USA gets all Junk Seiko watches. This watch looked good but would stop even when I wore it. I have had seikos in the past but they were all JAPAN made and those are on par with SWISS watches. All US merchants get the China stock and that sucks.
