Lost time twice in the past 20 days

My husband bought me this watch as a gift, and I was delighted to receive it. The size and style are perfect, and it suits my needs for a watch I can wear for work, dressy occasions and every day. I have received several compliments on it. It came charged out of the box, and I have placed it in a bright location for several hours to top off the charge. Nevertheless, in the 20 days I've had it, I've noticed twice that it has lost time. Both times I adjusted it manually and took care to let it charge in a brightly lit location. Admittedly, it's December and January in Canada, so there aren't always hours and hours of bright sunlight this time of year, but I didn't think I needed that. I'm going to give this another couple of weeks, but if it loses time again, it's going back.
