I have been looking for a gold tone stainless steel reliable watch. I wanted one that could look both sporty and dressy depending on what other jewelry I was wearing. This watch fits that perfectly. Not dainty but not huge...nice medium sized watch with a 1 inch wide face. I was also hoping the watch would look more like 14k gold (which it definitely does)and not that darker brassy looking color I have seen in many watches, even very high end expensive ones. I think when it is a darker and brassier looking gold...the watch looks cheap and definitely stands out (in the wrong way) when wearing real gold jewelry. You won't find a watch of this quality with a sapphire crystal and diamond markers for this reasonable price...this Seiko is an excellent buy. The list price of $395 is accurate. Highly recommend!!

The SXDA28 has it all for the lady who likes glimmer and glitter. Gold accented with diamonds on the face make it an excellent watch with evening apparel, but its not too fancy for everyday use. It's larger and heavier than a typical ladies watch, but that doesn't diminish the style. The price point is superb, for all its amenities, its value far exceeds its price. Highly recommend for the guy who wants to treat his wife, or the lady who wants to treat herself!

This watch has a lot going for it. The sapphire cover, the mother of pearl center, with the outer rim raised in silver with gold numbers gives depth to the face. The tiny inner diamonds are just enough to mark the tick points on the face, without being gaudy. The band is a subtle combination of polished and satin pale yellow gold,which makes it easy to wear with a variety of other jewelry. It is pleasingly heavy. I absolutely love the double fold over band, with the dual release squeeze triggers. This makes the watch band appear seamless at the bottom join, more like an expensive bracelet. It is also long enough to be comfortable for me, a tall, athletic woman with larger bones.
