I was looking for a classic style watch, like a cartier, but without the price tag. I also wanted quality and not some cheep cartier replica, so this seiko is perfect! Some people who reviewed this watch have suggested that it is too small, but I think it is perfect- this size makes it a classic. If it were bigger, it would look like a men's watch, which I know a lot of women are buying since they prefer that look, but if your taste is more along the lines of a classic Cartier tank watch and you want to spend a lot less, this is perfect.

I gave up on my 30-yr. old Cartier watch when the cost of repairs became too much, but love the style and have been searching for an inexpensive replacement. Well, this watch is it, even to the fake sapphire on the winding stem - plus I don't have to wind this one!

The face of this watch is about 5/8-in. wide x 3/4" high, a nice size for anyone who is looking for a watch that fits nicely on the wrist without being overpowering. It's water resistant and the movement is Japan-made. I've had it for several months, now, and it has kept perfect time without resetting even once.

The band is labeled "Calf" and is thick enough for me to know it won't wear out quickly; it's made in China, though, for those of you for whom that matters. It has 7 holes and should fit most wrists; measured, it'll fit a 5-3/8" wrist up to a 6-3/4" one.

Very happy with this purchase! I don't need the bells and whistles of dates/alarms/etc. and this watch fits the bill perfectly.

This watch was exactly what I was looking for - small, classic and casual. The white backround and black hands make for easy reading.

The picture of the watch makes the watch look much bigger then what it is in reality and when I got it I was so disappointed to find out that the pace of the watch is so small...I would have never gotten it if only I knew...I live overseas and by the time I got it it was too late to return it...very disapointing....

This watch completed my search for the perfect iconic Jackie Kennedy Cartier tank watch. It is made well, unlike many other copies. The version sold at the JFK Center had glitzy rhinestones, too much cheap bling for my taste. This watch looked simple, elegant, and true to the the famous 1969 black and white photo of Jackie in her black turtleneck. I was delighted to have it arrive so promptly after placing my order. I did a lot of research, even purchased a similar watch through another company. I returned that one in favor of this purchase. I am so much happier to have this model- it cost far less than the others and in every single aspect, a much better product for less than $110.00.

I ordered this women's model and the men's model for my wife to try. We found the women's model too small for aging eyes; however, she did like the size of the men's model which we kept. The only complaint is she can only wear it on the smallest hole on the band and there is quite a bit of the band that sticks out from her wrist.

I couldn't be happier with this watch! It has elegant styling and is small enough to suit my every need - casual or
dress wear. All my purcahses from Amazon have been up to my expectations! thank you!

I tried this watch on at Macy's ($175.00) and fell in love with it. I have very thin wrists and always have a problem with finding a watch that doesn't overpower me. This one is perfect! The leather bracelet is very comfy, and VERY well made. This watch definitely does not look cheap!
It looks great with jeans and a t-shirt and dresses up nicely as well. So versatile!
I highly recommend it.

Style:
The overall look is elegant, refined, and eminently feminine, exactly as this style of watch should be. However, the dial is a bit more embellished than many from Cartier; the gold dots might not appeal to all.

Second hand:
This watch has something that none or few of Cartier's women's Tank watches have: a second hand. For doctors, nurses, and others, a second hand is an important feature that many makers of women's watches seemingly overlook.

Size:
Some other reviewers complain that the size it too small or is smaller than they expected based on the photos. (I don't know how they misunderstood the size listed in the chart.) On the contrary, this watch, at 18mm wide, is the perfect size for a women's Tank. It's a classic style from a time before the trend of women wearing watches that are wider than their wrists.

Seiko might be called the Toyota of watches: not hand-made or exquisite, but well-made and affordable. Their quality is good and this watch is a fine value.
