This women's Seiko 5 self-winding watch was purchased as a gift. It is well made and looks classy. But unfortunately, it has trouble holding a charge for more than a day, if not worn continuously. I have owned a men's Seiko Kinetic since 2002 and have never had it stop or lose time, even after not being worn for several days. I suspect that the smaller self-winding mechanism in the women's model just doesn't have the same capacity. In addition, the day/date display is extremely small, making it almost unreadable without the aid of a magnifying glass.

I do not want to spend too much money on watches. The price is fairly low. The quality is good and the style is classic. The part I don't like is the day/date display, which is small. You have to adjust day/date at the beginning of each month, because it show 31 days for very month.

I really like Seiko watches and was really looking forward to the one I bought. I wish there had been more information regarding what an automatic watch actually was.I did not realize there was no battery to replace, that it would require winding or shaking to keep it running. I would have chosen something else had I knwn. Lesson here is "buyer beware". Do more homework before buying.

Hello everyone. buy this product and dramatically came quickly to the destination in miami florida, then log into my mailbox and get to my country later. (Merida, Venezuela). I am very grateful for getting this product because in my country is expensive. and specifically the product was well with the adjustable strap according to the size of the end user's wrist.

I purchased this watch for my daughter. After about one month the date and day stopped working. I send it to Seiko for repair, but they will charge me $74 for the repair! That is more money than what I paid for the watch. The Seiko representative told me that Seiko does not honor the warrantee, since I did not purchase the watch from an authorized dealer!

If I get Seiko to repair the watch, then Seiko will guarantee the watch for one year after the repair. It is better to get a Citizen solar watch. Citizen gives a 5 year warrantee!
