5.0 out of 5 stars If you are a Seinfeld fan... this is a MUST!
This is a great book... wonderful pictures! From "Hello Newman!" to watching Kramer run into Jerry's apartment, but from KRAMER'S side... These are all execellent pictures and excellent moments. Each of the cast members ideas and thoughts about the serious. Plus, you get pictures of EVERYONE, even Babu, Soup Nazi, Mr. Pit, the Constanzas, the Susan's parents, and many...

1.0 out of 5 stars Too many pictures, not enough words.
I love Seinfeld, the show about nothing. In books though, I prefer words to pictures. Please note that this book is a collection of B&W photographs (beautifully taken I must admit) with short comments written by the shows' stars. I was VERY disappointed by this book thinking/ hoping it would be more like those episode guide/ behind the scenes books taking a look...

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I, a big Seinfeld fan, was looking for, December 2, 2004
This book is mostly imagery--photography--with "commentary" by the cast. At the same time, for the more intellectual/reader-type Seinfeld fan, the sentences beside each photograph are extremely interesting and usually funny too. These commentaries are by the 4 main members of the cast. If there is anything bad said about this book, it must only be because the rater expected more text or something. The photographs are excellent--they tell enough themselves.

After reading this book, the re-runs won't be the same to me again. (in a great way!)

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a must for any seinfeld fan!, February 19, 2001

I found this book to be excellent. The photos were all shot during the week of taping the last episode. The quality and richness of the pictures are spectacular! Here the photographer conveys the emotion, closeness and camraderie of cast and crew alike. Comments and reflections from the "Fab 4" are included as well, under each photo. There personal feelings, reactions, and thoughts on how the show changed them, and how the show changed the TV world as we know it. I am a die-hard seinfeld fan, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to further there memorabilia collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the 3 most entertaining books ever., December 25, 1999
I think if you are going to buy this book or are even considering it, you have to be a very big fan of the show and appreciative of it, because the average fan might not get much out of it. It has awesome photos taken during the final episode with comments by the cast. It's not a story or script or anything like that, it's just one last look at what the actors went through and how they felt. But I have the book and I loved it. A lot of behind-the-scenes pictures were great.

5.0 out of 5 stars A photojournalistic feast for Seinfeld fans, December 3, 1998
By A Customer
Seinoff (1998 Harperperennial Library, written by Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Richards, and David Hume Kennerly) A photojournalists dream; to be the only photographer on the set during the week of the Final episode taping. This was Kennerly's assignment, and he completed it extremely well, capturing some of the quiet/secret moments fans rarely, if ever, get a glimpse of. Cover to cover black and white photos of the cast and crew, the sets and props, and this is only half of the book. Along with the photos are some of the best, most sensitive, most revealing quotes from Jerry, Michael, Jason and Julia that have ever appeared in print. This is only the 2nd 'coffee table book' that's worthy to sit on my coffee table. (Kramer wrote the first one.)

I am a huge Seinfeld fan and I became even more crazy about the actors of the program after reading this book. You can experience the final days of Seinfeld through the eyes of the actors themselves. It is all very special and emotional.

5.0 out of 5 stars The quartet behind the scenes, April 8, 1999

A first-rate last look at SEINFELD, not like the other books summing up for the umteenth time the episodes and such, but rather giving a sense of the feeling before, during, and after a show's filming, with a sense of the enviable comradery and even intimacy that the bunch clearly shared. For those who have a tad of a feeling that the Seinfeld crowd are something like our family, this is a great album bringing us even closer in. The days working and filming these shows were the times of their lives.

4.0 out of 5 stars Behind the Scenes, June 20, 2003

This review is from: Sein Off: Inside The Final Days Of Seinfeld (Hardcover)
This book takes the reader behind the scenes of Seinfeld's final two episodes. There's heaps of one line or paragraph interviews from each of the four main stars throughout this book. Most of the book will have a black and white photograph on one page with one paragraph on the opposite page.

You don't learn a great deal that you haven't heard elsewhere, but there are lots of photographs of the set and of the cast that you won't have seen before. The only downside is that all the photographs are black and white and none are colour and that there isn't more information.

I would actually recommend Jerry Seinfeld the Entire Domain instead of this book as it has a lot more information.

Since the final episodes are never shown as a one hour episode any more this book does cover both of the final two episodes. I realise the final episode was a one day special in the USA but not everyone lived in America and saw the two episodes as one when they were aired and a lot of people do enjoy watching them over and over again as the two. The book itself mentions they are two now as well. Either way if you are talking about one episode or two episodes it is the same episode and that is what this book is about.
