Works as expected. LIner holds those little pellet paper (open and shake) heat packs while you work and wear gloves over these liners. I wear the popular nylon mechanix style gloves over these liners. Works best with any glove that has a open/close velcro strap wrist opening. If your outside glove has a tight elastic wrist fit then you may not be able to get it over your liner and heat pack. I've used these 3 times now. Note that once the liner and glove is on your hand, you must remove them as a single glove to make it practical to remove/remount gloves as needed for the job. If you remove the liner from the outside glove (mechanix glove) , as I did once, I lost the heat pack (it fell out). This liner is superior than just placing a heat pack inside the palm of your hand, in a glove. I work on roof top heating/ac units in the winter and need warm hands to handle ice cold wrenches and tools. Because these liners are thin and lightweight, I do not suggest you wear them without external gloves. Basically, open a heat pack, stuff it in the liner, put liner on hand, then put glove on liner. Then your ready for the job, all day long. Little Hotties Hand Warmer (Pack of 40)

I ordered these to donate to a local shelter in light of the bitter cold weather in my area (Tri-state area). I absently placed a request with my order with Peter Glenn Ski & Sports if they would be interested in adding some extra items as a donation to the shelter. To my surprise within an hour I received a phone call and e-mail that not only were they donating items but a multitude of big ticket items (winter boots, jackets, belts, warmers etc.). I was in shock and elated! As was the recipient, Lucy's Shelter, Jersey City. When businesses do incredible things like this, they deserve our patronage. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in private enterprise! Many blessings to you.

Why did it take so long for them to come up with this? These glove liners make putting up with Raynaud's syndrome much less of a hassle. I wasn't sure if having the heat pack on the back of the hand would keep my fingertips warm, but it does. This approach is more effective, and less clumsy, than electric gizmos that cost a lot more.

The quality of the fabric and construction seem fine. But, don't plan to wear them without another glove on top--the heat pack would fall out.

This and the hand-warmer heat-pack are an economical alternative to heated gloves. My husband really likes the warmth. I find that the heat packet is too large for my glove/hand. A friend told me that I could use the toe-warming adhesive packed (very flat/slim) for inside my glove/mittens for less bulk.

I have read complaints from some that they aren't very durable when worn alone. These are liners and work well as designed. They are very compact and great to wear when it is very cold out. I would have rated them a 5 except the pocket allows the warmer packet to come out too easily when removing the outer glove - a minor problem.

I tried the gloves out on a very cold day of Spring skiing - 10 degrees and high wind. I wore them under my gloves, which normally I would have to wear mittens on this cold of a day and my hands were toasty. My only complaint is that the pocket for the heat pack is a little large which could cause the pack to slip out of the glove while putting on your ski glove (which happened to me). I don't believe its a design flaw b/c its a universal pocket - I would buy again.

I bought these gloves because of the pocket to put heat warmers in. The pocket works and the gloves fit very well.

I bought these glove liners to wear inside my snowboarding mittens. They are really convenient to wear when I need to re-lace my boot because they are so thin. On the downside, with a lot of wear, the gloves are starting to get in pretty bad shape. The heat pocket is awesome because it holds the heat pack in place. Overall the gloves do the job. I've had them for one season, but I don't know if they'll last for another full season. I'll probably have to replace them, but probably with a completely different brand.
