For me, this disc is best enjoyed alone.
In the background, it can be like smooth jazz, in the foreground, the nuances of the verse are interesting. The composition and arrangements are nice. Susana Baca can convey many conflicting emotions with her voice. The music is good for relaxing or thinking, however, my experience is that people with short attention spans will find this disc boring. |
