As a DJ who has worked at a couple different radio stations, I can recommend this disk without any reservations. The first song, a familiar hymn to those of us raised in VBS and Sunday School, They'll Know We Are Christians, is a song that I had not been all that fond of until I heard this version. The title track, a great song on its own, is improved by the addition of Mac Powell, lead singer of Third Day, and his unique voice. He blends well with Carolyn Arends and adds great feeling to the verse he sings. Non-christians will be able to appreciate this song as well, as it is not overtly a "Jesus song". The entire album is a good one for those who have avoided Christian music based on misconceptions of what Christian music sounds like. Teenagers who listened to the stations I worked at would request some of these songs, and parents won't mind hearing them.

I have listened to all of Carolyn's music since each recording came out. If I could have mixed my own CD, I would have chosen this recording EXACTLY! I love her gentle and talented voice on Reaching, and Go With God. The LIVE recordings are a great blend of everthing coming together at once. It's neat to hear the audience participation and other artists singing with her. Finally, the two new songs are outstanding! They'll Know We are Christians has such a cool guitar riff and blends some well known scripture into such a contemporary setting. I would love to see her come out with some music books. Overall, this recording is wonderful and such a treat for anyone who listen.

Carolyn Arends has such a smooth and soothing voice. I like all of her songs and have several of her CDs, but I especially like this CD. The first song is especially divinely inspired. Carolyn (and her team) do a new version of "They Will Know We are Christians By Our Love". While honoring the traditional hymn, they add a upbeat chorus and add verses from 1 Cor. 13 that make this song very special and endearing! Fabulous CD - and not simply a compilation of previous works! I ordered two more copies of the CD because I want that first song played at my wedding in the summer 2008!

Carolyn has the voice of an angel and her music is very soothing and comforting to listen to. Her message of faith and God's love is uplifting.

I love this CD. Carolyn Arends has a great voice and is easy to sing with. This is a Christian CD with some excellent music to make you feel good anytime you hear it. I recommend this CD.

I thought this recording was done very well! It is almost like a best of recording of Carolyn.
I would have given this a 5 star rating instead of the 4 star that I gave it for the following reason. During the "LIVE" recordings, the bass seems to be too much at points. (now before you get upset, I'm a true audio person --ok)?
I don't know if the bass was done that way during the recording and the record company failed to adjust it to its original settings or that the person who played the bass failed to understand that when it would be heard it would be kinda much!
That is my only reason for giving this recording a 4 star rating!
I feel that if anyone listens to this recording... THEY WILL BE HOOKED!!!
This recording will be in my libary for a good while and it will get played often!!!

Good studio work at the beginning, followed by several inspired and energetic live tracks.

This cd is the "shiznit"...lie dee die dee die...oh my God! From the first time I heard "Sieze the Day" on the local Christian station, I KNEW I had to own this cd. The Lord was so good to me, he made it possible. This is what I'm giving all my friends this year for their birthdays. Where would we be without God...the famous one?
