About the Author

Joshua Corey is the author of SELAH (Barrow Street Press, 2003), FOURIER SERIES (Spineless Books, 2005) and the chapbooks COMPOS(T)ITION MARBLE (Pavement Saw Press, 2006) and HOPE & ANCHOR (Noemi Press, 2007). His latest collection, SEVERANCE SONGS, won the 2008 Dorset Prize and is forthcoming from Tupelo Press. He lives in Evanston, Illinois with his wife and daughter, teaches at Lake Forest College, is working on a novel, and maintains an occasional blog on poetry and poetics at joshcorey.blogspot.com.

More About the Author

Born in 1970 in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Joshua Corey has lived in New Orleans, western Montana, the San Francisco Bay Area, upstate New York, and now Evanston, Illinois, just outside Chicago. He is the author of three prizewinning books of poetry, the most recent of which won the Dorset Prize from Tupelo Press and will be published by Tupelo in March 2011. Works in progress include a novel, a memoir, and a new collection of poems. He is the Gustav E. Beerly, Jr. Assistant Professor of English at Lake Forest College where he teaches creative writing and American literature. His interests include, in no particular order: The Rockford Files and other 70s detective shows/policiers, utopia, literary modernism, good whiskey, wandering around Europe, long marriages, intellectual history, the Aubrey-Maturin novels, gadgets, critical theory, D&D, Project Runway, and parenting.
