Select Salad Blend Lettuce 3000 Seeds
http://www.amazon.com/Select-Salad-Blend-Lettuce I love this company.EVERYTHING I ordered came in a timely manner. And when planted properly following their suggestions included in the mailing your seed will germinate The only "4" they forgot to send the Salad Blend seeds in my May 31 order. I would have given a "5" to the folks.

We planted 2 packets in a 4' X 10' area. We learned the hard way that lettuce seeds must have sunlight to germinate. There were some spots where I buried the seed to deep to germinate. The properly buried seed germinated and covered the ground. We will be doing some major thinning next weekend by cutting about 80% of the plants at ground level and making a huge baby leaf salad. I know the error was mine because were the seed was at the right depth the seeds from each packet germinated. I had to buy one more packet to cover the missed areas.
Be aware, there are about 3000 seeds in one pack. This will cover a very large area is spread properly.

germinated quickly but bolted within a month of starting harvest due to the fact that it's in our sunroom (even in winter, it got warm in there). i have since germinated some more and am continuing to enjoy these greens along with my nasturtium, basil (still doing fine in the sunroom), garlic chives, lavender, and other edibles in a salad.
