My husband bought two of these carousels about a year and a half ago. They are attached together, giving me double the spice saving storage. I LOVE this spice rack and I have tried many out there before. For the first time, my spices stay fresh and do not clump together.

I do have to agree with another poster about the difficulty in opening the spice "doors". It does get much easier with use, I must say. But, I decided it was worth it because I know those spices are fresh in there!

Convenient for frequently used spices.

An identical one that I looked at in another store had plastic that was so hard to move that my wife could never have used it as opening the compartments would have been too hard for her fingers. This one is "stiff" but usable.

For her it's more of a "novelty" in reality but it does keep the spices she uses most frequently where she can find them rather than searching through the cupboards to find them.

It was a good "gift" item for somebody who's hard to buy things for.

THIS CAROUSEL WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND A PLEASURE TO USE. WE HAVE IT MOUNTED UNDER THE CABINETS NEXT TO THE SINK. WOULD NOT HESITATE RECOMMENDING THIS TO ANYONE.

If I could give this product zero stars, I would have.
You can't measure the spices from the carousel, you have to pick up each individual spice container, flip open a door, and then turn the knob.

This might not be a problem for casual use, but the so called 1/4 teaspoon measurement can vary up to an extra 1/4 teaspoon. I checked it ten times in a row and got a different measurement every time.

Also, do not try to use spices that are in anything but powder form. Minced onions, doesn't work. Thyme leaves, doesn't work. Rosemary, dill weed, basil, oregano, none of them work.

If you are just looking for something to organize spices and really don't care how your food tastes you might consider buying this.

And if you just need organization, regular spice racks have been doing a fine job for years and are cheaper.
