Thomas Chatterton (1752-1770) has been known for his relationships with the Romantics, his forgery of Medieval texts, and for his early suicide. This collection aims in part to draw attention to his lyrics and satires and not only the biographical details of his life and social milieu.

I had been trying to locate an edition of Chatterton's poems for quite awhile. This seems to be the only edition in print as of now, and though it is a relatively scant volume, I suppose it will suffice. It features a thorough biographical introduction, as well as explanatory notes. Essential for Romantic scholars and enthusiasts, but be aware of what you are ordering before you pay more than the cover price.
