Great introspection inside the Irish soul,

I've just finished translating it in Italian for my thesis in English literature. I think Friel is a natural story writer,as the critic Walter Allen said once,even though he is known as a great dramatist. The book shows a deep capacity of entering the human soul, especially the Irish one, with all its contradictory emotions. A deep insight on the human need for illusion.Reviewer: Cristiana Nania |
