This book is a third edition update and expansion of a real classic, a really useful classic. It is a comprehensive decision tree of data types, statistical needs, matched up with appropriate SAS statistical techniques. Nothing else even close to being like it. The second edition, Univ of Mich press, is a collectors item. This is a really useful expansion. If you do research statistics other than the really basic stuff, this is a necessary and modestly priced desk reference.
