A good introduction to Caesar,

In contrast with the only other review of this book, I rather enjoyed it. As a Latin teacher I have found this book very helpful as an introduction to Caesar's writing. It is an excellent transitional book between Beginning and Intermediate Latin. The notes and facing vocabularies are usefull and easy to read. Seng has also done a wonderful job of picking exciting passages from Caesar's book. Some of my favorites are: Descriptions of Gaul, Caesar leads the charge, descriptions of the various tribes of Gaul, and Caesar's tactics and strategies. These are not the names of the selections, but only what they describe. Overall, this is not the best Caesar book, but I greatly enjoyed it.
