Since 6 songs here are from from
Byker Hill and 3 from
But Two Came By, you might think this anthology has no especial distinction.
But it has: the other 3 are from the No Songs EP, which appeared around the same time as
Rags, Reels and Airs and then sank without trace, save for one track ("The Irish Washerwoman/The Ash Plant") on
The Carthy Chronicles.
Too bad they didn't include ALL the tracks -- that would have made this album even more worthwhile.
