This is the English Album all the fans has been waiting for eight years for. It's a wonderful album and now that it's hear we will can finally thank EMI Latin for putting it out but the question is why so long to put it out?

It's amazing how only a couple songs on here were actually hits but her record company is just trying to make a dollar off her death. Anyway this cd is wonderful. Her music has the depth to it that you don't find with most artists today. Selena has the most beautiful voice i have heard. i wish Selena could be around to see her dream come true and in my opinion, this bascially is the finished "dreaming of you" album.

This collection is really not Selena's greatest hits but a collection of English recordings. This album does offer some beautiful ballads like "Only Love" and "Where did The Feeling Go" and then also offers some uptempo tracks like "Is it The Beat?" or "A boy Like That." But what pulls this album down is the lack of thought and effort put into this album. It doesn't seem like a tribute or even a look back on what Selena would have become but more like whoever put together this album is trying to gain money and live off of Selena's image.

I own Selena's Greatest hits with the DVD. It is awesome !!
I am here looking to purchase another one. I have already bought 2 but need more. I have one for myself and buy more for gifts. I have viewed the DVD So many times I never get tired of it. When I first purchased her Greatest Hits, I was very pleasantly surprised that it contained a DVD.
Everyone I know from my grandaughters to nieces and daughters and Me ,especially love all of Selena's music and especially her Greatest Hits with DVD, I highly recommend it. I think I need another one for myself for back up, :O)

Selena sang great tejano and mexican regional music.Butalso, like alot of latinos more american than anything else.If your born in the us and our latino.You will be different than a foreign or just became a citizen latino,your are a american.The language is english and I love it.She does great pop songs with a hit of rock,also covers some R&b and my personal favorite dance music like Freestyle.American latinos grow up with two rich cultures the amrican and spanish(alot of us do not speak spanish,so I feel this a great album for us to have and relate to).No matter if you are Puerto Rican,Mexican,Cuban,Etc..we all can relate.

THIS ALBUM IT'S A CLASSIC !SELENA HAVE A GREAT TALENT AND VOCAL RANGE !

Selena is so good in this. My favorite ones are "Captive Heart" and "God's Child"

I've been a huge Selena fan since 2007 and this was the first CD of her that I got. I can't believe that any fan would give it less than 5 stars. It's such an awesome CD. I've seen a lot of complaints about how all the songs are in english with the exception of God's Child(Baila Conmigo) and Wherever You Are which are spanglish songs. Selena's dream was to crossover into the english speaking world and it's a shame that she didn't get to while she was still alive. It's obvious by the tracklisting that these songs are in english. If you have a problem with the songs being in english, then don't buy this album. Buy Selena compilation CDs like Ones, Unforgettable: The Studio Album, etc since most of the songs on those are in spanish except Dreaming Of You and I Could Fall In Love. This CD is a great collection of great songs for Selena fans and it's nice that these english songs all got released on one disc since she never got to record a full non-compilation english album. The DVD is also wonderful and always enjoyable to watch. This CD/DVD combo is well worth the money.

One of the best singers of our time and this CD demonstrates some of her best music. A must for any Selena, Tejano and/or Hispanic music lover.

Wow! This is truly a great CD. At the time of her death she was
working on an all english language cross-over album. Well this
new CD shows how wonderful that would have been.

This CD will come as a surprise to most people that only know
Selena as a spanish performer.

I only hope this will receive the exposure it deserves both on the radio and from the record buying public. A must have CD.
