'Selena Remembered' is a great video for fans, as well as people who want to know more about this wonderful entertainer, and what a nice person she was. Great clips, music, interviews with family, etc.. My only complaint would be that it makes you realize even more what an incredible tragedy her death was. I wish I had known more of her while she was still here. Definitely recommend this video, it's excellent.

I am one of those people that never had the opportunity to hear of Selena until her death. Now I too own all her cds, the movie Selena, and this wonder compilalation of her music. I am overwhelmed with saddness when I listen to her music by the fact that she will never be able to make more of the best music I have ever heard. I am also overwhelmed with happiness to be able to listen to such wonderful music by a most dynamic performer. Because of Selena, I now own over 20 spanish cds. She really broadened my horizons.

Also, I just spent 3 years teaching in a bilingual kindergarten and my admiration for Selena was a wonderful way to connect to the Hispanic community that I was so blessed to work in. The children always wanted to dance to Bidi Bidi Bom Bom and so we did dance to it often. My heart breaks for a family that lost such a wonderful, inspirational, talented, and kind person. I can't even imagine the kind of pain they must have felt and continue to feel for her loss. We are all so grateful that Selena did live but of course we will always wonder what could have been.

Selena remembered is a wonderful way to learn more about a person so admired and loved. There are many interviews with Selena and you really get a feel for what a wonderful person she was. My thoughts and gratitude go out to her family for continuing to give us a part of a person we will always miss.

This is the best Selena video available. I was very impressed when I bought it soon after it came out, and I continue to be impressed with it. Edward James Olmos narrates this tribute to Selena, and in just one hour this video covers a lot of ground.

It starts off with black-and-white footage of her performing at a very young age and traces her career from the early days up until her death. It's a joyful video which focuses on her life and career, and doesn't dwell on her murder, and makes no mention of Yolanda Saldivar. There's concert, video and interview footage with Selena's humor to go with it all. This video is awesome.

I had never heard of Selena until she was murdered over four years ago. I realized that when I saw the biography of her life in the movie "Selena" and since have learned as much as I can about 'the star America did not know it had.'As for Selena Remembered, this film is as close to really being with this amazing young woman as anyone ever was. My eyes welled up with tears as the final clips and narration by Edward James Olmos played on the screen in front of me. I give this picture the highest rating of five stars. If you like Selena's music or would enjoy a glimpse into her short but fulfilling life, get this movie!This next line is for the movie critic that stated "Selena sounds a lot like Gloria Estefan". I think you need to go back and listen to her music a little more carefully. I am sure she will touch you just like she has touched millions of others, like myself.

This DVD was BEAUTIFULLY MADE, leaving viewers with a "happy", yet "sad" feeling after getting to know who SELENA really was. It takes viewers along her life's journey, with home video clips, non-published interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage of the making of her films, videos and accomplishments.

It begins from early childhood, showing a short interview and video clips of her first performances in the family restaurant. both as a person and as a performer. You get to "know" her, after hearing her speak and seeing her expressions. And you can feel the emotions that everyone close to her felt. In fact, it left me wanting to see more. But the video nears the end, just as did in Selena's life-unexpectedly, and when things were just beginning to come together for her.

And although very little is mentioned of her death, you cannot help but "feel" the sadness and the loss, because Selena's voice is no longer heard, and fellow performers, friends and family speak of her in the "past tense".

There was sooo much Selena had going for her, and so much that she had to offer. And sadly, her life was tragically cut short. After meeting her and knowing her story, those who hear her music will appreciate it even more. I believe that the makers of this DVD captured that essence incredibly!!

She was so many things to so many people. A performer, a friend, wife, you get the idea. Only upon her death did she reach the audience that she had always dreamed about. This video, which is the Best so far, gives a behind-the-scenes look into the life of one of this country's most beloved and missed stars. Whenever I watch this video, it seems like she is still here, the interviews and clips of her are just that fresh and new looking. It was a well thought out production that is hosted by Edward James Olmos and includes her family and husband as well. Selena will always live through her music, and in the love and admiration of fans worldwide.

This is one of the best dvd I have seen a while. You get to see a lot of cool things like selena coke commercal, live cips and much more so I think you should pick up your copy today. I know I glad I did.

Selena is an excellent movie that is based on the life of the Queen of Tex-Mex, Selena Quintanilla. She was a true role model who accomplished all her dreams and goals. Her story will touch you. I truly recommend all viewers to see it and buy it. You won't regret it.

I loved this DVD. It shows Selena`s career very well.
It is a must for any Selena`s fan and a nice recommendation for anyone who wants to learn about Selena, her life, music and relevance for latin music.

I only recently heard about Selena and was so taken by this young lady being cut down in her prime. The DVD Remembered is very good and takes you back over her short career and just how the family grew together and really it was just to virtually survive. Sincve then I have been loking for C/ds andDVD's that can tell me more of this amazing woman. The DVD did much to strength her memory. I am amazed also of the number of people in Australia who have not heard of Selena. This DVD has done much to enliven my views and to have others apprerciate this womans great charms for everyone who were fortunate to come into contact.
