Too Quiet; Awkward to Use,

Apart from being goodlooking, this whistle has little to recommend it. The noise it makes is MUCH quieter than a cheap mouth-blown whistle, and the button you have to press is tiny and would be exceedingly hard to use in an emergency with adrenaline-shaky hands. Do not recommend for personal protection.
