I must say that I was incredibly taken in by the precision, clarity, depth and absolute perspicacity that permeates this wonderful work of translation from the original Tamil. Human verbal language and words generally tend to obsucre and obfuscate, and as Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi points out, they do little except interrupt the flow of the perennial, eternal language of silence. Given that's the case, this work must surely represent a truly brilliant rendering, for Bhagavan's guidance comes through with such profound and compelling power, that even after reading it more than 10 times from cover to cover, the freshness and impact of the work only seems to increase with every subsequent read. For any one seeking to read Bhagavan's work -- other than reading His original Tamil work -- this is perhaps the best alternative possible. Not an easy read, and takes focused concentration and effort, unless the reader is already a fairly advanced aspirant of self knowledge and familiar with Bhagavan's instructions. Can't recommend this book highly enough.
