Jeff Beals looks like a fairly young guy (from the back cover), but man does he know how to synthesize information. Self Marketing Power is concise, yet detailed; to the point, but sensitive to different situations. Beals is going to help a lot of people who are flailing about like fish out of water. It did take me a while to get through the information, but his stories and easy to read writing style made the concepts pretty easy to grasp. I would enthusiastically recommend this book for any college graduate, sales person, consultant, or entrepreneur type.

I was originally turned onto this book by a friend of mine in the commercial real estate business. I must tell you that I have read tons of books in this genre and Jeff Beal's Self Marketing Power is top-shelf! The pages are filled with useful, up-to-date information and because Jeff has employed the tactics himself there is a breadth of credibility here invaluable to the professional looking to take the game to a whole new level!

And I must add that for as good as the book is... just wait until you experience Jeff live! I had the opportunity to hear him speak to a capacity crowd in 2007 and I must tell you that he is as witty, entertaining and educational in person as he is in his writing. If given the chance, don't miss your opportunity to experience this rising star live -you will not be disappointed!
