I have and read every book Dr. Phil has written and 2 of the CD Book's. There isn't any information that he proects that isn't helpful. This man is down to earth and I watch or tape his show every day. I have improved my own life from listening, reading, and watching him. I can't even imagine him being behind a desk and seeing clients on an hourly basis on his couch sort-of-speak. He is doing what he is suppose to be doing and God Bless him for including his family. He is Mr. Wonderful. It would be my dream to meet him some day.

Excellent look at steps you can take, at any age, to recreate your life, find your purpose. Dr. Phil's no-nonsense approach was a nice yang to the yin of Carol Adrienne's more philosophical/spiritual books such as The Purpose of Your Life.

Excellent book Self Matters: Creating Your Life from the Inside Outcomplemented by an excellent workbook in creating personal transformation. Would make an ideal gift for anyone special.

It was a very good book. /it was well written and well though out.

Dr. Phil illustrates complex comcepts in understandable terms. This book helped me see myself through the mirror of my past.

These days, I am rather turned off by "Dr. Phil," but at the time that I read it, I thought a lot about the man. While reading the book, I felt like he made some great points and allowed for some self reflection. Probably now I wouldn't want to read a book by him.

The book I orderedwas not in "new" condition as described by seller. I emailed the seller for more info and got no response. Money was returned through Amazon procedures.
