After buying more than 100 books on studying the bible, I bought this book just by the title not knowing what to expect. For me the Christian walk is a serious matter,and I use various means to to grow in my learning. I am only half way through the book, but had to take the time to say "KUDOS" to the person who put this book together because I have learned more about the subjects covered in the book than I have in many, many, many sermons. My only wish is that I had found this book when it was first released. If you want to grow in learning the Bible and getting under the meanings of various subjects, GET THIS BOOK NOW!!! I hope my Pastor doesnt get upset with me for going through this book in Service, but I cant help it...I am LEARNING...finally, and what a relief. Yours in Christ, RG

Self-Study Bible Course
This self-study Bible Course is the most complete Bible course I have seen. The author, Derek Prince, meticulously includes the major features of being a true follower of Jesus Christ. Simple to understand, yet profound in teaching the truth. Memorizing important key scriptures is made easy.

An excellent study course for those wanting to put scripture to their faith. A must for anyone who has not taken the time to write out their faith and beliefs in a comprehensive manner; a sound and true process without denominational bias.

This is a fabulous study!!! It's great for new believers and old believers. It's a wonderful help for memorizing scripture and for being able to back up what you say with the word of God. When someone asks "Why?" you will have a scriptural answer.

In August of 1985 I surrendered my life to God through Christ, totally ignorant of what had just occurred. I did not have a church upbringing, nor did I ever read the Bible prior to the weeks before that radical day. Wanting to know more, and not knowing where to find the knowledge about basic christianity, I purchased this Bible course because it read "Self Study", and that is my preferred method.
What a blessing this book was to me. I learned so many of the basics of faith, but not superficially. The course is simple but very inclusive, leaving me secure in my understanding of the most important facets of Christian life: prayer, the Word of God, salvation, and the Holy Spirits' office in my life as a believer.
I have told everyone how vital this book was to my newborn faith, and recommend it to anyone who is interested in seeing new believers discipled yet are at a loss as to how to go about it.
By giving this book to a newborn Christian, they will be encouraged and instructed in studying the scriptures on their own, and reasoning only with the help of God through his word and spirit.

Highly recommend this study course to give new christians. Derek Prince graduated at the top of his class
at Cambridge University in England, majoring in "Logic". When WW II broke out, he heard there were 66 books in the Bible, which he had not read, and decided that was his choice to take with him to study.
For a riviting read on how that decision changed not only his life, but everyone else who came in contact
with him for decades to come, will say his biography by Stephen Mansfield is his best work. Although Derek went to be with the Lord in 2003, his work lives on, changing lives. This self study Bible Course is but one of dozens. Anything you see with Derek's name on it as the author is a must read in my opinion. I personally had the privilege of sitting under his teaching, even met his wife Lydia who accompanied him on many of his engagements. Would recommend you start with his biography by Stephen Mansfield.

This book allows you to study, break down the bible, and actually get a better understanding of What God is telling us in his word.

I have been looking for a "study buddy" for studying my Bible and now I have one with this Bible study course. It is easy to follow and easy to understand. I like it because it is easy to read, it has references and quiz's which are simple and understandable. No hassles with this Bible study course at all.
