Rap From Beyond the Stars,
By
This review is from: Self-made Loner (MP3 Download)
I can really only describe this as pure interstellar hip/hop because there is definitely no rapper on earth similar to him. Vocally, he has an aggressive, attacking voice that hits like a punch every single line. The chorus mellows and creates a gentle flow between each of his hard hitting verses. Lyrically, it's a prefect, seamless stream between some of the best nerdy references and political statements. Musically, it has a very space-funk style that is entirely unique. It's got a bit slower pace but definitely drags out the punch of his rapping and fits with how he spits. Probably my personal favorites has got to be "Life Preserver". I've always been a huge fan of rap and hip/hop and this up in my favorites.
Gonna have to hit the streets and pump this full volume because this is something that should be shared for sure.

started off with a good funky track "2 clicks". good job eMpyre on that one. good production. i was feeling that one. "atmospheric pressure" i liked alot, cuz it was kinda chill and downtempo - a lil trip hop-ish. cool beats. "The T-Virus" - i have heard diff mixes of this song, and at first i wasn't a fan of the electrocution mix, but i am feeling the electrocution graveyard mix. it's def dark. i like this very much. "Life Preserver" probaly remains my fave right now, for both lyrics and production. the beats on it kinda remind me of Linkin Park's "Faint", but more so Butthole Surfers "Natural One" (correct me if i'm wrong on the band for that song). then some of that song kinda reminds me of some Breakbeat like genre music too... def original, very good production. lyrics i'm feeling, "If you can pull the plug, i know I can pull the trigger."
this would be fun to remix on my decks too.. i think you should collab with Agent Orange, the one rapper that was on BET Freestyle Friday's. He lost to Bones Brigante in the final round, but he should of won. he was the better rapper, and that dude can write. I think it would be an interesting collab, you and Agent Orange.
