OK I am giving this one 5 stars because I just love Pito, the giant clamp given a human form because of his great love for Haru, another selfish Mr Mermaid. We know Haru from Vol 1 who harbors a grudge against Kaioh since childhood. In vol 2 we have Pito's story. Pito is such an endearing and adorable uke. With his sweet and innocent face this devoted uke easily wins me over. His story is quite sad in the beginning. Without vocal capability there is no way he could convince Haru that he is in fact Haru's giant clamp as Haru moans over the lost of his childhood companion. Theirs is one touching and sweet story as Pito finally gains Haru's love, with a little help from Kaioh and Kanan. Pito and Haru certainly deserve their happy ending. However this lovely story with a tender surprise at the end is just 1/3 of the book.
We are introduced to two other characters, Lord Amur, a perverted monarch of a nearby ocean and his aloof uke. Their story is OK but these two characters just pale in comparison to little Pito.
The 3rd story is enjoyable as Lord Amur plays havoc on the lovers' lives. Poor Pito is torn away from the others who are flung into a desert. A desert is no place for Mr mermaids. Thankfully we have the endearing Kanan to the rescue.
Selfish Mr mermaid may have somewhat lost its freshness in Vol 2 but the uke characters of Pito and Kanan still make it one enjoyable read. The ukes certainly win the day in Vol 2.
There is a little one shot on a uke mr mermaid and his chef but nothing to shout about here. As for the sex you have all the positions but the parts are all conveniently hidden as in Vol 1. LOL.

I can't begin to say how much I love this volume. It was just awesomeness. I like it more because it doesn't have one of those lame covers like how most books have.

Ready to get Fishy with it! Both books are great and will give one a great appreciation for sushi (which I don't eat). The merman is smoking hot and the hapless lover boy is quite cute and ready to be fried in more ways than one. No pan needed here just hot guys having fun under the sea and on land. Both books should be gotten together for a more complete meal and read. So get out the fishing nets for this one and the first. Who knows what you might catch. Quite a great tale about getting some tail. Get ready to get wet yaoi style.
