This bag is stylish and unique, but IT IS NOT RATED ACCURATELY! We used these bags in Eastern Washington during two average night temp weekend in June (range 42F to 52F) and the bags were inadequate to the point of requiring an additional bag for comfort - the Selk bag 3G is rated good to "35F".

I conduct freelance writing projects for a number of outdoor-related magazines, and I've had the privilage of reviewing product, including sleeping bags and systems, in the past - I would really encourage potential buyers to NOT TRUST this 'marketing-driven' rating at all... this is not a technical bag; you will be cold if the temp drops below 50 degrees F.

That being said, it's a cute bag for warmish summer nights, and it definately generates conversation, so in that capacity, it is worthwhile as a purchase - as long as you don't count on it as a technical bag.

Saw it on the Moon April 29, 2010

The Moon movie, that is.

I think I may have paid for it by turning down the thermostat nights. My PG&E bill has definitely been lower lately. It's comfortable and warm warm warm. The feet have thick nylon cloth soles OK for indoor use but not out in the dirt or wet. I'm 5'8" and the Large size is only slightly too big (in the legs). I think a Medium would be too small.

Can be slept in, like a real sleeping bag. Can be worn to the kitchen, bathroom, and TV room just fine. Making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches takes a bit of care with those floppy sleeves. Besides TV watching I wear it on the porch on winter evenings in cosy warmth. A good value.

I love mine October 4, 2011
Color Name:Yellow|Size Name:X-Large
I have a green one that is a little short and a black one the next size up that is way to big. It would be helpful if they had some type of belt. I do love them, they are extremely comfortably, it's like wearing a pillow. I agree with other reviewers that the temperature ratings are not very accurate, they are not as warm as a standard sleeping bag. I know that they are sized differently that when I bought mine so I may get a different size. I would absolutely recommend them, just not for serious cold weather excursions.
