I bought this before I saw the ones from Sam's Club. The ones sold here are cheap in quality compared to the ones from Sam's Club. Sam's Club only charges $21.17 for eight squares in a package and all the squares have two borders. The ones from this amazon.com seller comes only with 6 squares in each package and two of the squares have only one border. The ones from this seller is .37 inch thick which dents easily and the dents stay and is not reversable whereas the ones from Sam's Club is commercial quality, is .53 inch thick and is reversable to a dark grey color for adult use once the kids outgrow them. I wanted to return the ones from this amazon.com seller but I would have lost more money with the additional return shipping. But, next time, if I want to get anymore mats for another room from my house, I will get the ones from Sam's Club. If you don't have a Sam's Club membership, I would suggest getting one. For the cost of shipping of approx. $30.00 from this amazon.com seller, you're better off paying for the year's membership at Sam's Club and you'll be able to save more money for the year with your membership on other things besides the mats. It's what I should have done. Oh well, you live and learn. I did buy a set from Sam's Club for my sister to use at her place.

Its just what we needed. It protects our grandchildren from the unyielding cement floor. Its bright, easy to put together, and most important comfortable to walk/play on.

These mats work great! They come packaged in sets of 6 squares (one of each color) they can be assembled separately as play mats or all together to cover the entire floor of a child's bedroom like what we did. My 6 year old loved how colorful his floor was when it was done. I loved how easy it was to do it. I installed the whole floor in twenty minutes by myself! That includes taking the time to trim the tiles to fit the room. My son liked the fact that afterwards he had "puzzle pieces" to play with since there were left over bits. I looked at a ton of options for redoing his floor and you just can't beat this price.

I used this product to cover my side porch (concrete slab) so that it is safer if my children slip and fall. Did the trick nicely and I was able to cut the styrofoam squares to fit around the corners with kitchen shears.

These were exactly what they'd say they would be! My son LOVES them! They are more thin than I was expecting, but it's still what it said they'd be!

I contacted the company to ask about the safety of the materials of the mats, and they were extremely prompt to send back information of a study done (the study was about a different mat - but I assumed/hoped it applied to this mat). The mat itself is fine and as expected - except it smelled very strongly of rubber - the strong smell lasted a week or so. It is better now. Not sure if that is the same for all of these types of mats.

When your baby starts to sit up and stand, he'll also start to fall over. Best that he falls on something soft. Best that it be something easily cleaned, too.

The only caveat is that the plastic flooring leaves a lethally slippery sheen on wood floors. Washing the mats does not make them any less slippery.
Think: groin injury. We don't move ours. I would recommend it without hesitation for anyone putting this on a carpeted surface.

These pads are colorful, easy to install,and very comfortable to walk or crawl on. Perfect for a child's room!

I have one entire room, which is hardwood floors covered with this mat for my baby that just started crawling. It is perfect thickness, I really didn't feel that we needed anything more then that. I chose these mats because they didn't have the letters and/or numbers in them that could be easily pulled out by my baby. My baby still pulls off the edges from this mat, but I can deal with that. These mats are fairly easy to clean/wipe. I am very happy with this purchase.

I had an early puller upper daughter and she was trying to climb on EVERYTHING! Combine that with a new walker visitor and you have a recipe for accidents and head bumps on hardwood floors. Each were saved some painful experiences in that first week and has continued to soften the falls as we have transitioned to attempting to walk.

Reasonably easy to clean, vacuum hose and spot mop as needed.
