A bit pricey but they work great for working out like P90X.
Con = strong chemical smell a month after wards.

I was looking for a mat to stretch and stand on for tai chi. This mat sits well on the floor and is a fair price. It has just the right amount of give and is comfortable and a tiny bit softer that the deeper judo mat. This in not recommended for higher impact like judo, but works nice for low impact activities.

Excellent and ideal exercise mat. My wife and I do P90X in our garage and this works wonderfully. It was easily assembled and easy to clean.

Anyone who knows martial arts knows that when it comes to throwing, hapkido takes the lead, this product is great, vary soft but firm.

I ordered these for my basement "dojo" and was worried that they might be too "squishy" for stand-up martial arts. They are perfect - providing enough padding to prevent shattered bones during accidental falls, but still firm enough that they do not cause any problems with hip rotation. They do leave some color on your feet, although that has diminished some since we've been training on these mats for a couple of months. The mats fit together quite seamlessly, and are easy to clean. I have no complaints at all apart from the blackened feet, and could not find less expensive mats of this quality and thickness anywhere. Karateka and Taekwondo practitioners can feel very confident about ordering these mats without worrying about injuries due to too much stickiness or squishiness. We did use a double-sided adhesive tape for rugs around the outer edge of the mat to keep it from sliding around on the concrete floor, and we have had no problems with sliding or slipping at all.

I turned my garage into a workout room. I researched many different products and found these to be the best to suite my needs. I was looking for a product that would accomodate the demands of the P90X workout. I was concerned with durability with the dumbells as well as comfort with all the jumping around. Not to mention being able to practice BJJ with my kids. These mats met all my expectations, easy to install, pretty durable, and the perfect mix of density.

i was kind of worried when i ordered these i seen some reviews that werent that good i bought them cause i do bjj but they are really good they dont come apart like i thought they were going to do and its enough padding i think they are worth the money
