Refreshing Look at Relationship Marketing,

Gretta spoke in front of a 200+ person audience, and firstly she's an excellent speaker. I purchased her book after she spoke, and I was not disappointed. Gretta gives a refreshing look at what I like to call "relationship marketing" from the point of view of a professional sales coach. Gretta's book is full of stories and examples of very basic principles that everyone who owns a business or does sales for a business needs to know. But it goes farther than even that audience: If you're selling an idea to a teacher, if you're selling a project to upper management, you'll still find these principles to be of use. The idea is that PEOPLE HATE TO BE SOLD. Heck, now they even hate to be marketed-to. People buy from the people they like. If you've been told "Sorry, but my best friend does that for me" -- and you know the door has slammed shut in your face -- you know what I mean. This is a valuable addition to any business or sales library.

I try to read a "How To" sales book a month. I normally receive one or two points per book, that help me be a better salesman. Mrs. Schulz book "To Sell is Not to Sell" was by far the best I have read this year. It's an easy read, it's enjoyable, I walked away with many good ideas and points of interest. Well worth the price!

This book was AMAZING! It seems like everyone in the construction industry has a take on "the right way to get a job." After reading this book, I now consider Greta's approach "common-sense selling" - it's perfect logic that it's better to find out what your customer truly NEEDS instead of pushing what YOU want to sell them. This method is the BEST road to take in sales to help build strong client relationships AND close deals.
Greta's book helped me discover that being the lowest bid is not necessarily more important than finding out what your client is really looking for in a contractor. And not only does her approach apply to sales and business, but it applies to dealing with people in general - even your own family. Realizing that everyone has a different way of communicating and processing information opened up my eyes to the way I should be building my relationships with all those I encounter. Greta's approach to sales has helped me increase my repeat-business with and generate more referrals...not exactly easy in an economy where the lowest-bidder usually gets the job!! Thanks Greta! Fantastic Perspective!,

Greta is a straight shooter and really gives you the advice you need to transform your business and sales team. As a business owner, selling was not the first thing I knew or understood, so I had to learn it. I should have started with Greta's book... she really knows what she is talking about. I love her strategies for getting the results you need from your sales staff. She also helped me realize that I stand in my own way when it comes to making the "sale." I use her advice and strategies on a daily basis in my business. This is a great book, because she has the successful real world experience to back it up.
