I used about 40+ post-its on the various pages in this book to keep track of specifics, excellent!! However I wished there were more in this book about the steps required before meeting with co-packers, or how to make introductions, disclosures, even food brokers. Mr. Hall does have some online references, which till certainly help.

First I want to say that I bought this book for my husband as he had seen a library copy and thought that it would be really useful. So, I don't have any criticisms about the book per se.
However, if you already have the 2008 (Kaplan) edition, don't bother buying this one thinking that it is an updated edition. The Amazon listing states it is 2012, but the book I received is 2009, so I would assume virtually the same as the 2008 Kaplan. The only difference seems to be that the author took over the publishing/printing himself.
If you don't have a copy of your own, by all means get this, but if you have the 2008, don't bother
